The Leduc & District Regional Waste Management Commission (LDRWMC) ) is a regional waste commission that is comprised of 5 municipalities: City of Leduc, Leduc County, City of Beaumont, Town of Calmar and the Town of Devon. The Board manages the Leduc & District Waste Management Facility.
Vision: Practical, environmentally conscious waste management and resource recovery.
Mission: Regional partners providing sustainable waste management solutions.

The LDRWMC requires each member municipality to appoint one council member to the Board, as well as an alternate member. The following Board members were appointed in October 2024 by their municipalities.

The Board annually elects a chair and vice-chair from among its membership. Councillor vanNieuwkerk was appointed as the Board Chair.
Members of the public are welcome to request to speak during the Public Commentary portion of a LDRWMC Board meeting, or can request to attend as an observer. Requests should be submitted to info@ldrwmc.ca at least one week prior to Board meetings.
2026 Meeting Dates
The meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held at the City of Leduc Civic Centre, #1 Alexandra Park, Leduc, Alberta, T9E 4C4.
Facility Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
(Seasonal Hours May 1 - Sep.15: Open Wednesdays until 9:00 p.m.)
