Eligible Products
Accepted Organic waste includes:
- Fruit and vegetable scraps
- Food leftovers
- Meat, fish, bones
- Dairy products, eggs, eggshells, butter
- Bread, cereal, grains, baked goods and ingredients
- Pasta, pizza
- Coffee filters and grounds, tea bags
- Nuts and shells, herbs, spices
- Solidified grease and fats
- Soiled paper plates, napkins and tissues
- Yard Waste
- Most paper products
Organic Waste does not include:
- Waxed paper products - e.g. cardboard coffee cups
- Plastics and Styrofoam
- Metals
- Glass
- Soil
- General household waste - e.g. soiled diapers, soiled sanitary napkins
